Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

MILLATI: Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities recognizes the importance of digital preservation in ensuring the long-term accessibility, integrity, and continuity of scholarly publications.

Digital Archiving

The journal maintains online access to its published articles and issues through its official Journal Archives. MILLATI's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform has enabled the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archiving features. The Publisher Manifests for both systems are operational and display the journal's published issues. These manifests provide information that can facilitate the collection of journal content by participating digital preservation networks.

Long-Term Digital Preservation

MILLATI acknowledges the importance of distributed digital preservation in reducing the risks of permanent scholarly content loss. While the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Publisher Manifests are enabled and accessible, participation in their respective preservation networks and the archival status of individual issues remain subject to verification. The journal will update this policy when institutional preservation arrangements and archived holdings have been confirmed.

Access to Published Content

MILLATI provides access to its published scholarly content through its official website:
