Conflict of Interest Policy

IJIP (Indonesian Journal of Islamic Psychology) requires all parties to disclose any interest that could, or could appear to, influence their work.

Authors

Authors must disclose financial and non-financial interests (funding, employment, consultancy, shareholding, personal or institutional relationships) in a Conflict of Interest statement in the article. If there is none, the statement reads "The authors declare no conflict of interest." Funding sources and grant numbers are stated in a separate Funding statement.

Reviewers

Reviewers must decline to review, or tell the editor, if they have a conflict of interest: co-authorship with the authors in the last five years, the same institution, a personal relationship, competing research, or a financial interest.

Editors

Editors must not handle manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest, including their own manuscripts and those of colleagues from their own institution, students or close collaborators; such manuscripts are assigned to another editor. Editorial board members may publish in the journal at most one article per year, processed through the regular double-blind review without their involvement.

Handling

Undisclosed conflicts discovered later are handled under our Corrections, Retractions and Misconduct policy.
