Focus and Scope

Islah: Journal of Islamic Literature and History focused on Islamic Literature and Islamic history, especially in the Indonesian context. Islamic Literature covers studies on Indonesian novels, poems, songs, drama, films, and Arabic literature from a wide range of perspectives: sociology, politics, psychology, semiotics, linguistics, and stylistics. While Islamic History covers the history of Islam in Indonesia, including the development of Islam, manuscript, heritage, culture, local figures, and local wisdom studies comprising social, media, maritime, and daily history.
