Peer Review Process

All submissions to the IJoReSH: Indonesian Journal of Religion, Spirituality, and Humanity are initially reviewed by one of the Editors. At this stage, the manuscript may be rejected without peer review if it is felt that they are not appropriate for the journal.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial read are sent out for peer review, usually two anonymous independent reviewers. Based on the feedback from these reviewers and the Editors' judgment, a decision is given on the manuscript. Notification of the first decision – acceptance, rejection, or need for revision – will generally be given within 10 weeks of receipt of the manuscript. In the case of revision, the manuscript may be sent out for further peer review after consideration by the editors.

The Editor-in-Chief of IJoReSH has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.
