In the digital era, libraries are applying information technology to preserve, manage and provide access to digital collections. Software such as Eprints is the solution that libraries use to organize and manage these digital collections. It aims to help democratize access to scientific knowledge and facilitate the search and discovery of scientific research. The utilization of Eprints of Yogyakarta State University for IPII students of UIN Raden Intan Lampung aims to determine how satisfied the library users are with the ease of access, and the availability of the collection. The method used in the study was quantitative with a descriptive approach, researchers used data collection derived from questionnaires and observations distributed to IPII UIN Raden Intan Lampung students. This study consists of 3 indicators and 7 statements that researchers distributed to 23 IPII students. The first indicator of satisfaction with 2 statements with a mean value of 3.4 and 3.7 with a very high interval scale, the second indicator of satisfaction with 3 statements with an average value of 3.3, 3.3 and 3.4 with a very high interval scale and finally the third indicator regarding collections with an average value of 3.8 and 3.8 with a very high interval scale. With these results it can be said that IPII students as users feel very helpful in retrieving information with the use of Eprints UNY feel satisfied.

In the midst of economic competition and the global trading system which is the influence of advances in information technology, companies must review the use of the number of workers for the sake of efficiency in the company's expenses. Employees are company assets that can be controlled by the number of uses and work systems. The development of science and technology has given rise to new methods or models and concepts that can be adapted to company business processes, one of which is decision support systems. PT. Primarindo Argatile is a company that produces several types of ceramics under the Red Hourse trademark. There are two categories for work agreement status, namely the contract employee status category and the permanent employee status category. Problems occur when management wants to promote or appoint permanent employees as replacements for employees who have retired or resigned. Based on the system analysis and primary data collection that researchers used in this research, one of the reasons is that they have not used an assessment approach or method as a support in making decisions that suit their needs, and one of the recommendations for overcoming several problems related to assessment system techniques and procedures is to use an approach. profile matching method. This method is expected to minimize assessment criteria from subjective factors and perspectives by measuring and exploring the similarity of candidate profiles in accordance with the ideal profile determined using a Likert scale. The weighting scale in the assessment system, company management places greater emphasis on three aspects of work achievement, namely work quality, work quantity and work loyalty. Calculating the final results using the profile matching method approach can show recommendations from several candidates based on the results of an exploratory analysis of employee profiles from three similarity values of 80% core factors and 20% secondary factors.

Collaboration among public libraries in Jakarta for collection development (a case study of Jaklitera System)

This study explores the collaboration among public libraries in Jakarta regarding collection development through the Jaklitera system. The collaboration aims to enhance service accessibility by facilitating users through an interlibrary loan system among public libraries in Jakarta and integrating their catalogs. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews with two librarians involved in the development and management of the Jaklitera system. The findings indicate that Jaklitera significantly improves access to collections across various public libraries in Jakarta, regardless of the users' location. Additionally, the system helps libraries gather information on user collection needs, enabling them to respond more effectively. Despite its significant benefits, the study highlights challenges related to the technical adjustments required for integrating different library systems, as well as user adaptation to new technologies. This study recommends improving catalog standardization and developing digital collection services to enhance service quality and expand access to public library collections in Jakarta.

This paper discusses the application of the General Principles from the International Cataloguing Principles (ICP) in the cataloging process of information resources at the National Library of Indonesia. The study employs a qualitative method, with data collected from key informants within the institution. The objective is to assess whether the National Library of Indonesia, as the supervisory body for all types of libraries in Indonesia, adheres to the general rules established in the ICP. As a supervisory institution, the National Library of Indonesia is expected to set a good example for all libraries in Indonesia by effectively conducting the cataloging process for its collections. Additionally, this institution plays a crucial role in preserving Indonesia's library materials as evidence of the nation's history and civilization.

Reference services in libraries and reference librarians are two things that cannot be separated in practice. Reference services are one of the activities as well as a forum for providing information in information institutions, such as libraries. Reference librarians have a very important role in providing reference services at library information institutions, librarians with competent qualifications are needed to be able to create optimal quality reference services.Basically the form of a reference service is finding information to answer specific questions, helping users find appropriate information, and forbidding users from using library information sources according to their use. The existence of a commitment to reference services makes a major contribution to users in obtaining the information they need. The unstoppable development of technology and knowledge has increasingly encouraged reference librarians to fulfill the various competencies required due to the large amount of information circulating. This study aims to find out what competencies librarians for reference services or reference librarians must have and for what innovations librarians can make in providing their services through observation, which is a way to be able to gather information in accordance with what is sought through observation. Based on the research conducted, it can be seen that reference librarians have an important role in providing reference services, both in finding, managing, and presenting information to information users according to their needs.

The sale of pirated books through online shop platforms in Indonesia has become a disturbing problem and threatens the integrity of copyright in this country. This article aims to investigate the phenomenon of copyright infringement in the context of selling pirated books on online shop platforms in Indonesia. Through an exploration of the sales methods used, their impact on the publishing industry and society, and countermeasures, this article provides an in-depth analysis of the problem.

Literature studies and direct observations were carried out to understand the legal framework for copyright, the practice of book piracy on the internet, and the sale of pirated books in online shops. It was found that the sale of pirated books through online shop platforms resulted in financial losses for legitimate creators and publishers, as well as harming consumers by reducing the quality of the content. Apart from that, this phenomenon also hinders the growth of the publishing industry as a whole.

Proposed countermeasures include strengthening the law, cooperation with online platforms, public awareness campaigns, increasing cooperation between parties, and empowering creators and publishers. By implementing these steps, it is hoped that the problem of copyright infringement in the sale of pirated books on online shop platforms in Indonesia can be addressed effectively, support the sustainable growth of the publishing industry, and protect the copyrights of creators and publishers.

Analisis bibliometrik: publikasi ilmiah perancangan sistem informasi di Indonesia

This research conducted a bibliometric analysis of publications related to information systems design in Indonesia during the period 2019-2023. Using data from Google Scholar as well as Publish or Perish and VOSviewer tools, this research maps and analyzes trends, patterns, and dynamics in this field. Key findings include the identification of the most influential articles, researcher productivity mapping, and co-occurrence analysis that revealed 44 topic clusters. “Application of Waterfall Method in Designing Web-Based Project Monitoring Information System” is the article with the highest citations (1394), while “Budiman, A.” and “Damayanti, D.” are the most productive researchers. Network and density visualizations show the dominance of certain terms and identify opportunities for future research. This research provides a comprehensive understanding of the information systems design research landscape in Indonesia, and highlights gaps and opportunities for future research.
