To address this issue, it is necessary to introduce the concept of resilience to students as a preventive measure against more severe issues. Student-centered learning (SCL) emerges as a viable approach to instilling resilience. Therefore, this research focused on the internalization of resilience through the SCL model in Merdeka curriculum. This qualitative field research involved deputy head of curriculum, the homeroom teacher and students of class 6B. Data were gathered through interviews and observations, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings suggest that the SCL model encourages active and enthusiastic student participation. Teachers employ various strategies, such as project-based learning, problem-based learning, technology integration, differentiated learning, and fostering a positive environment, to instill resilience in students. These initiatives empower students to cultivate resilience, equipping them with the essential skills to navigate life successfully in the future. This study concludes that SCL model in Merdeka curriculum can instill resilience in students, thus making students strong and resilient in receiving learning.
Noptario Noptario, M. This is thought to be a result of students' math anxiety about. This study aims to describe students' mathematical anxiety and students' numeracy and describe the influence of both variables on grade V students of MIS Muhammadiyah Babakanloa. It investigated the relationship between math anxiety and numeracy among Class V students at MIS Muhammadiyah Babakanloa, involving 27 participants during the 2022/2023 academic year. The descriptive and inferential statistical analysis result shows that math anxiety negatively impacts confidence and accuracy in calculations, while objective numeracy acts as a partial mediator in the association between math anxiety and performance in numerical reasoning tasks, with no significant gender differences in numeracy observed. Students' negative perceptions of mathematics and the dull learning methods contribute to low interest and heightened anxiety in the subject, significantly impacting numeracy by 21.71%. The negative relationship suggests that increased math anxiety corresponds to decreased numeracy. These findings emphasize the importance for teachers to innovate and create engaging learning experiences to alleviate math anxiety and enhance numeracy among students.
Hilman Mangkuwibawa, Dadan F Ramdhan, Muhammad Rifqi Mahmud, Choerunisa Rachmadani Siswanto, Edi Supriyadi Copyright (c) 2024 Hilman Mangkuwibawa, Dadan F Ramdhan, Muhammad Rifqi Mahmud, Choerunisa Rachmadani Siswanto, Edi Supriyadi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/924 Thu, 06 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Harmony of Tradition and Innovation: A Distinctive Approach for Arabic Language Learning in Madrasah with Adab and Tahfidz Integration https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/1077
The integration of traditional Islamic values with innovative pedagogical approaches in Arabic language education, especially in contexts such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah in Pacitan, is critical to improving learning outcomes. However, empirical studies are still rare to evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of these approach, so in-depth research is needed to assess impacts, challenges and best practices. This approach emphasizes a perfect blend of Adab (Islamic etiquette) and Tahfidz (Qur’an memorization) programs in the Arabic curriculum, aiming to foster holistic development among students. This study explores in depth the theoretical foundations of this integrated approach, highlighting the symbiotic relationship between tradition and innovation in educational practice. Adab functions as a moral compass, guiding students toward ethical behavior and character refinement, while Tahfidz enhances cognitive abilities and linguistic proficiency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method approach, which emphasizes research methodology to comprehensively assess the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Qualitative data collection methods include in-depth interviews, include surveys before and after implementation, assessment and evaluation of academic performance. Qualitative data analysis involves thematic coding and narrative synthesis. This study contributes to the development of Arabic language education discourse in Madrasas by proposing a transformative approach that aligns tradition with innovation.
Ahmadi Ahmadi, Nurhasma Muhamad Saad Copyright (c) 2024 Ahmadi Ahmadi, Nurhasma Muhamad Saad https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/1077 Thu, 06 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Curriculum Development and Teachers’ and Students’ Competence Improvement in The International Class Program Through Educational Collaboration https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/1034
This study aims to analyze curriculum development, strengthening teacher competencies, and students in the International Class Program (ICP) at SD Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga through educational collaboration.
