A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and document studies for data collection. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, validation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that classroom management by teachers includes preparation of essential teaching skills. Teachers enhance classroom management through various approaches: discipline, reward and punishment, teaching, attitude, and group process. This research contributes to the academic understanding of classroom management implementation in Islamic religious education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. In Islamic education, classroom management is a crucial skill for educators, aligning with the Prophet Muhammad’s SAW emphasis on purposeful, precise, and thorough efforts in teaching.
Moh. A quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design was used. The sample consisted of 5th-grade students from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Serang, with 27 in the experimental class and 27 in the control class. Data collection involved observation and tests using a validated multiple-choice instrument. Normality and homogeneity tests preceded data analysis using the t-test. Results showed significant improvements in both classes, with the experimental class implementing the problem-solving model outperforming the control class using conventional methods. The t-test significance (2-tailed) was 0.007, indicating a significant difference in critical thinking skills between the groups. This finding supports the effectiveness of active learning approaches in fostering higher-order thinking skills where developing critical thinking is essential to fulfilling human responsibilities in living a meaningful life.
Juhji Juhji, Nita Rismawati , Prasart Nuangchalerm Copyright (c) 2024 Juhji Juhji, Nita Rismawati , Prasart Nuangchalerm https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/1612 Mon, 02 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Correlation between Self-Efficacy Levels and Pedagogical Content Knowledge among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teachers https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/2088
This study examines the relationship between self-efficacy in geometry and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Banyumas Regency. Self-efficacy was assessed in 79 sampled teachers using a multidimensional teaching self-efficacy scale focused on effectiveness and classroom management, while PCK was evaluated through tasks involving the perimeter and area of two-dimensional shapes. The findings reveal a weak correlation between self-efficacy and PCK, indicating limited interdependence. This highlights the need to address gaps in both areas. Within an Islamic context, the study emphasizes the relevance of tazkiyah (self-purification) and ilm (knowledge acquisition) as principles of teacher development. It recommends targeted training aligned with Islamic values to simultaneously enhance self-efficacy and PCK. Such an integrated approach aims to improve teaching skills, foster holistic growth, and create a nurturing learning environment that benefits both teachers and students.
Ifada Novikasari, Donny Khoirul Azis, Noor Elebiary Copyright (c) 2024 Ifada Novikasari, Donny Khoirul Azis, Noor Elebiary https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/2088 Mon, 02 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Dhuha Prayer Habituation on the Awareness of Performing Fard Prayers among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Students https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/2582
This study examines the influence of Duha prayers on students' daily performance of fardhu prayers. A quantitative approach was utilized, involving surveys, questionnaires, and interviews for data collection. Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted. The research findings indicate a correlation between regular Duha prayers and students' adherence to fardhu prayers at home, with a 20.5% and 79.5% difference in performance before and after implementing the Duha prayer, respectively, which can be attributed to various factors. This percentage demonstrates the impact of the habit of Duha prayers on students' consciousness in fulfilling fardhu prayers, with the main contributing factor being the students' awareness developed through consistent practice at school. The consistent practice of habits can significantly influence a person's personality. Similarly, incorporating the habit of performing the Duha prayer is essential in shaping students' personalities. The implementation of fardhu prayers at home has a noticeable impact on students. Since fardhu prayers are obligatory for Muslims, it is essential to have a supportive process to ensure their fulfillment.
Dedih Surana, Giantomi Muhammad, Iwan Sanusi, Haditsa Qur’ani Nurhakim, Muhamad Imam Pamungkas Copyright (c) 2024 Dedih Surana, Giantomi Muhammad, Iwan Sanusi, Haditsa Qur’ani Nurhakim, Muhamad Imam Pamungkas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/2582 Mon, 02 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Strengthening Reading and Writing Literacy to Foster Creative Writing Skills at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/1577
This study aims to describe various reading literacy strengthening activities implemented by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to foster creative writing skills. Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach at MIN 1 Banyumas, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The informants in this study were teachers and students of MIN 2 West Sumbawa. This field research utilized observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The data was analyzed descriptively through collection, clarification, and conclusion-drawing. The findings reveal that the tikrar method involves students memorizing one verse daily. The method is implemented both individually and in groups under the supervision of Qur'an guidance teachers. Key factors influencing the tikrar method include the understanding and application of fashohah (correct pronunciation) and tajwid (rules of recitation), consistency in the muraja'ah (review) process, the Qur'an script used for memorization, and the synergy between parents and teachers in guiding students. The study underscores the close relationship between Qur'an memorization and Islamic education, highlighting its significance as a fundamental component of the Islamic educational process.
Ahmad Muhammad Diponegoro, Ihda Husnul Khotimah, Fajar Shodiq Setiawan Copyright (c) 2024 Ahmad Muhammad Diponegoro, Ihda Husnul Khotimah, Fajar Shodiq Setiawan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/mudarrisa/article/view/1826 Mon, 02 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000
