Abstract

This study examines local wisdom-based community development through village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in Grantung Village, Krangmoncol District, Purbalingga Regency. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data were obtained through observations and interviews with residents, the village government, and BUMDes managers. The results indicate that a culture of mutual cooperation and community participation plays a significant role in the success of BUMDes. To strengthen its role as an economic driver and promote equitable welfare, additional capital, increased human resource capacity, and sustainable institutional strengthening are needed
