Abstract

Village fund implementation often focuses on physical development, thus under representing community issues and needs. Therefore, an empowerment approach is needed to actively involve local communities. This study aims to determine how village funds are managed within the framework of community empowerment. This research used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation. This data collection was analysed and validated. The results indicate that village fund management involves community participation from the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. This encourages village governments to manage empowerment programs that align with the interests of the local community
