The research method used was descriptive quantitative with a questionnaire instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability, covering three leading indicators: internalization of traditional character values, integration of technology in learning, and the suitability of the educational approach to the characteristics of Generation Z. The results showed that the internalization of traditional character values o btained the highest percentage of 70.22%, reflecting the success of the Pesantren in maintaining Islamic values and traditions. Meanwhile, the integration of technology and the suitability of the educational approach obtained 57.13% and 57.04%, indicating that innovation and adaptation to the needs of Generation Z have begun but still need strengthening. Pesantren Al-Anwar III Sarang Rembang had attempted educational transformation through project-based learning activities, digital literacy, and collaboration with external institutions. However, infrastructure limitations and resistance to change were still challenges. This study emphasized that Pesantren education development in the modern era must be carried out with a selective approach, namely, maintaining fundamental values w hile adopting relevant and contextual innovations.
Herman Khunaivi, Intan Aulia Rakhmawati, Syarifatul Fitri Hidayah Copyright (c) 2025 Herman Khunaivi, Intan Aulia Rakhmawati, Syarifatul Fitri Hidayah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/3941 Thu, 26 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Teacher efforts in enhancing religious behavior among secondary school students https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/2504
Religious behavior shapes attitudes, values, and practices within educational environments. This study investigates the efforts of teachers to enhance the religious behavior of Mattayom students at Solihuddin School. The research aims to understand student religious behavior, teacher efforts to improve it, and the inhibiting and supporting factors involved. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used, employing observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using triangulation techniques. This study found that most mattayom students at Solihuddin School demonstrate generally positive religious behavior, although differences remain in understanding and participation. Teachers play a key role through modeling, personal guidance, and active engagement strategies. The effectiveness of these efforts is influenced by inhibiting factors, such as low student motivation and unsupportive environments, as well as supporting factors, including strong school policies, parental involvement, and proactive teaching. These findings highlight the importance of an integrated and collaborative approach to fostering students' religious development.
Nabil Auliya Ramadhan, Santi Lisnawati, Maemunah Sa'diyah, Nila Mayang Sari, Sahroh Binhayeekhonoh Copyright (c) 2025 Nabil Auliya Ramadhan, Santi Lisnawati, Maemunah Sa'diyah, Nila Mayang Sari, Sahroh Binhayeekhonoh https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/2504 Thu, 26 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Social responsibility and nationalism in school life: challenges of wasathiyah Islam https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/3438
This research analyzes the implementation of wasathiyah Islam principles and the values of social responsibility and Nationalism through institutional policies and programs at MTs. This contributes to problems related to developing students' character and skills. This research examines learning methods based on the Prophet Muhammad's hadith by highlighting interactive educational perspectives. The Prophetic Hadiths not only provide spiritual and moral guidance but also contain pedagogical principles that are relevant to modern learning contexts. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review, collecting references from books, scientific articles, and theoretical documents related to curriculum innovation strategies. The research findings reveal that interactive methods modeled by the Prophet, such as question and answer, habituation, and discussion, can improve academic performance, build moral character, and develop students' practical skills. This research highlights the relevance of interactive learning methods in modern education, focusing on active student participation and addressing the challenges of contemporary educational needs, particularly 21st-century skills.
Ramli Muasmara, Ilyas Husti, Zamsiswaya Zamsiswaya, Nola Fibriyani Copyright (c) 2025 Ramli Muasmara, Ilyas Husti, Zamsiswaya Zamsiswaya, Nola Fibriyani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/3446 Thu, 26 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The influence of training intensity in the madrasah reform program on improving teacher competence https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/3549
The strategic plan of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to improve the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia includes the Madrasah Reform Program, designed to provide training relevant to the challenges of modern education. Teacher competence is a key factor in enhancing the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the influence of training intensity in the Madrasah Reform Program on improving teacher competence. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto method is used to evaluate the extent of the relationship between training intensity, which includes frequency, duration, and depth of material, and the improvement of teacher competence. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation from madrasah teachers who participated in the training. The results of a simple linear regression analysis show that the depth of material has a significant impact on improving teacher competence. At the same time, the frequency and duration of training do not demonstrate a significant influence. These findings highlight the importance of the quality of training materials as a primary element in continuous professional development programs. Therefore, it is recommended that training focuses on preparing in-depth and applicable materials to enhance teacher competence effectively.
Mifta Lidya Afiandani, Moch. Tolchah, Din M. This research argues that the social concepts proposed by Ibn Khaldun, such as ashabiyyah (social solidarity), are fundamental in managing diversity in education. By understanding diversity as a source of strength, education must be able to form social habits that strengthen relationships between different groups and build social solidarity. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a literature study type. Research findings show that although multicultural education offers opportunities to shape more inclusive and tolerant individuals, the reality on the ground often presents significant challenges. Diversity in education still causes tensions between different groups, whether religious, ethnic, or social. This study found that applying the principle of ashabiyyah, which emphasizes social solidarity, and using an educational approach based on compassion and gradual repetition of concepts can help overcome these challenges. Additionally, teaching methods emphasizing developing social and emotional skills, such as effective communication and empathy, are highly relevant for creating individuals ready to live harmoniously in a diverse society.
Syamsul Kurniawan, Maimunah, Feni Nurhaliza Copyright (c) 2025 Syamsul Kurniawan, Maimunah, Feni Nurhaliza https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/3870 Thu, 26 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The role of Islamic education teachers in instilling ukhuwah Islamiyah through tafsir learning https://ejournal.uinsalatiga.ac.id/index.php/attarbiyah/article/view/3750
This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling the values of Ukhuwah Islamiyah through thematic tafsir learning of the QS.
